General Terms & Conditions of Business of the Welios® Science Center

1. An admission ticket purchased at the box office entitles the holder to be admitted immediately to the Welios® Science Center and to tour the premises once on the date of purchase. A ticket is not transferrable.
2. An admission ticket purchased in advance is imprinted with the date on which it is valid. It is valid on this date only, and in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 above.
3. Visitors expressly agree that they enter upon the premises of the Welios® Science Center and use the conveyances and rides therein at their own risk.
4. The Welios® Science Center assumes no liability for damages to persons and/or property (injuries, accidents, soiled clothing, etc.) due to the visitor’s own negligence or that of a third party.
5. The Welios® Science Center reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone without having to cite the grounds for such refusal, or to expel any visitor from the premises due to a violation of the Welios® Science Center’s house rules.
6. Smoking or consuming food & beverages while touring the premises are strictly prohibited.
7. Visitors are not permitted to bring animals onto the premises.
8. Visitors are obliged to obey the instructions of the Welios® Science Center’s personnel.
9. Visitors are responsible for all personal property such as bags, jackets and cameras that they bring with them onto the premises. The Welios® Science Center assumes no liability for lost or stolen property.
10. Shooting photos and videos during a tour of the premises without the express, written consent of the Welios® Science Center is prohibited. Authorized images may be used for private, non-commercial purposes only.
11. The Welios® Science Center is not obliged to refund the purchase price of an admission ticket once the sale has been finalized. If such a refund is nevertheless issued, it is done so strictly as a gesture of goodwill. In general, the purchase price of tickets purchased in advance will not be refunded at the box office.
12. The Welios® Science Center hereby points out that its regular operations may be subject to time delays. As a result, a group that has made a reservation for a particular time may be obliged to wait prior to partaking of the services as provided for in that reservation.
13. The Welios® Science Center does not guarantee access to any specific attraction. Due to technical, operational or other reasons, individual exhibits or exhibitions at the facility may have to be modified, removed, closed or temporarily placed off limits at any particular time.
14. The Welios® Science Center’s policy is that promotional discounts on admission tickets apply only to tickets purchased at the box office on the day of admission.
15. If one or more of these provisions becomes or is made null and void for any reason whatsoever, this will have no effect on the validity of all other provisions.
16. The place of jurisdiction and legal venue for any disputes arising from these terms and conditions is Wels.
17. These terms and conditions are governed by Austrian law.
