Getting there
To ensure a sustainable journey, we recommend the use of public transport.
Arrival by train / bus
To Wels main station, then every hour by train direction Almtal (platforms 4, 11 or 12) to stop Wels Messe.
From the main station you can also use the bus line 15 direction Thalheim and get off at the station Pollheimerstraße or Volksgartenstraße. You can find the current travel times here.
Arrival by coach
Arriving by bus is recommended via the Wels-West exit in the direction of the city center. Follow the signs to Welios®. In front of the Welios® Science Center there is a marked exit zone for buses (Weliosplatz 1).
Collective taxi Wels
For evening and weekend trips we recommend the Welser shared taxi.

Arriving by car
You can reach the Welios® Science Center Wels via three highways (A1, A25, A8). After leaving the motorway, head towards the city center following signs for the Welios®. The Welios® is located at the Eastern Exhibition Center, where you can find hundreds of free parking spaces (except trade fair dates). The exit Wels-West towards the center is recommended.
For navigation systems please use “Rosenauer Straße 7, 4600 Wels” as destination address.

Parken
Car: The parking guidance system of the city of Wels leads you directly into the parking garage “Blackbox” (further name: “X-Garden”), which is located next to the Welios® Free parking is available behind the Welser Stadthalle as well as in the exhibition center (5 minutes on foot) ,
Coach: There are bus parking spaces at Welser Lokalbahnhof, 500 meters from the Welios®. It is also recommended to use the parking lots along the Dragonerstraße – beginning at the Federal Police Headquarters (Dragonerstraße 29) – to the west (out of town).
Accessible parking: 3 accessible parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the entrance are located at the back of the building (Rosenauerstraße).
